This year’s Pre-term Birth Dialogues Conference is taking place virtually from 29 to 30 March 2021.

It is a networking meeting organised by NIHR Global Health Research Group on the prevention and management of pre-term birth in low- and middle-income countries (PRIME), funded by the UK NIHR Global Health Research programme.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Addressing the challenges of meeting SDGs related to Maternal and Child Health by mitigating Pre-term Birth in Low- and Middle-income countries (LMICs)’. The conference will discuss ongoing research regarding the global challenges to attaining the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets for maternal and child health focusing on preterm birth.

The aim of the meeting is to bring together international researchers and leading experts from across the maternal-foetal ecosystem to share their knowledge and findings and to create/strengthen networks and collaborations. As PRIME is centred around capacity building, early career researchers and young investigators from across the world are strongly encouraged to participate.

Abstracts should be submitted by 18 February 2021 for those wishing to present.

Registration deadline for general admission is 6 March 2021.
